I dont know wich is best .. im looking for such a program myself ..but just look at the figures suported and think twice before buying...
Im thinking of getting WW from PhilC because it has the most suported figures, And the great way PhilC is helping his costumers and everybody else for that matter.
One thing i dont get is the demo version of ww .. thats a bit out of date IMHO ...

Clothing converter works better with Daz figures but it takes work. Think of it as a baby version of a 3d modeling program where you use magnet like pull and push to make the clothing fit. it's not a one button converter at all.
Wardrobe wizard is very easy and is a one button converter, owrk fairly well in converting however will not convert boots or gloves.
I have bought both. Only have Clothing Conveter 1.0 as each upgrade in functionality was a upgrade price. CC was buggy and hard to use, 2.2 may be better but lack of support, help, and not easy to use I don't use it at all anymore. Wardrobe Wizard is quick and painless, after converting using a poser magent here and there usually fixes any conversion problems. WW doesn't do shoes, boots, or gloves which is disapointing but ya can usally get around that by hiding body parts parenting and resizing in poser.
for whatever that is worth...
One thing about WW that hasn't been mentioned for a long time: When you do the initial conversion, depending on outfit, it can take upwards of hour to complete. But once it's done you can use that outfit on any supported figure. Which can take a few minutes. I agree whole heartedly with MachineClaw's evaluation of CC.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
WW WILL do boots! I converted some to Rikishi just last night and it worked like a charm!

The R-lina spacesuit and M3 boots! ^__^

I own both, and I vote for Wardrobe Wizard. CC can get you a higher quality conversion, but it has a steep learning curve. WW is far quicker and easier, at least for a newbie.
If you are a merchant who wants to convert her models to other figures and sell them, it might be worth it to go with CC. Otherwise, WW is definitely the way to go.
I also own both programs. I use Clothes Converter 2.2 for most of my conversions, as long as the figures are supported in the "autoconvert" feature (That's for one-click, automatic conversions between figures). If it's not in autoconvert, then I turn to Wardrobe Wizard, rather than deal with the manual conversion process in CC.
So, in regards to the list of figures from the orginal poster, Autoconvert will work on conversions between V3, S3, D3 and M3 figures. It doesn't support M2 or Miki. It does support V3/S3 to Jessi conversions, but not vice versa.
I generally try to use CC over WW because: 1) Transferring morphs to the converted clothes takes a few clicks in CC. In WW, it's a much more tedious process that involves clicking on individual body parts and a lot of joint parameters. 2) I find the CC interface easy to use (that's just personal preference.)
WW is clearly superior than CC in its wide ranging figure support, and in PhilC's customer service.
At: http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=200345 Scroll down to 'Space Travelina".
It was the first item I ever bought on Rendo! Because of ONE feature that does NOT require a seperate figure: It come with an EXPLODING space ship. You can rescale for any other figure and the thing has an EXPLODE morph! OH MY GOD! @__@ The coolest MODEL EVER! It can blow UP!??! Whoa!
After getting that--I had to Lina to with the clothes!
The rest is history! Nyahahhahahah!

First --I'm JOEL not Joey Pen. The is the name we have to put on ALL the action pics in the contest. There is also Emma Quill and Rosie Ink names in other categories. I would have prefered to put my own name on my OWN material. >___<
Second- Thankies about the helmet! I made in Wings 3d. It does look better in a render, than unrendered. I'm still hammering on it, and not completely happy with it, yet. If you like it, I may release it as a freebie. I was inspired to try and make a copy of the 'Tactical Spacesuit for HIM" by En I got over on Sixus1's site.
Mine didn't come out as good as the original, but it's still a WIP. ^__^V,,
@ Pokey--thanks for the heads up! WHOOOHOO! A way to make dynamic cloth into conforming cloth! NOW I know what he meant when he remarked he an idea when I told him I wanted support for ALL characters with the Clothing Creator! 168 isn't all--- But it's a start! @__@;; DANG, he must not ever sleep.
ok.....one more time! ALL HAIL PHIL!!!! WE"RE NOT WORTHY! The dude rules. Period. ^____^

Quote - Hello all,
I'm looking for an outfit converter program like Clothes Converter (by markdc)http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=3069
or Wardrobe Wizard (by PhilC) http://www.philc.net/WardrobeWizard.htm
Basically, I want to covert outfits designed for V3 to other figure types like Miki, Jesse and SP3; and outfits designed for M3 to David and M2, and vice versa.
Has anybody tried or know both apps.? Which one is better? (Currently, I'm leaning toward Clothes Converter if they are equally good, for CC costs $20 less than WW. )
Or is there other choices that may get the job done even faster?
Your advices or suggestions are much appreciated!
I do not know about WW, but CC is not very good. CC documentation is very weak and lacking information even for the Auto Convert. It also has a big learning curve and lacks the support that I know PhilC gives.
I own CC and wish I had never bought it. Just my opinion.

I guess I better get rid of those boots I converted to fit Aiko...
I recommend Wardrobe Wizard as well. But watch all of the tutorials. You will be doing some joint parameter and magnet work after conversion, and that becomes a lot less scary after seeing how easy it is to do in he tutorials.

Wardrobe Wizard will carry morph targets over automatically if you convert unregrouped, unre-whatever the other option was under advanced.
