I'm dyslexic and have an excuse for my bad spelling here.  Since they changed the forums, my spell checker doesn't work here because it relies on right clicking, which only shows cut/copy/paste here :(

I try hard to catch my spelling, but it's hard when to do when I'm seeing one thing and my brain is processing it as something else. Often I don't see my spelling until it's too  late to edit the post.

If my bad spelling at times bothers people, all I can say is "live with it, because I have to!"

Another factor for bad spelling is that not everyone here has English as their first language. I think it's awful to make fun of someone's spelling because you don't know the circumstances behind it. Yes, it could be laziness, but it could be something else.
