yeah. .lwo is Lightwave format. I think some programs can convert them (surprisingly enough Blender, while trying to be everything to everyone, does have the ability to import one format and export another. I think Lightwave is supported, but I'm at work and don't have Blender in front of me).  You might download it just for the conversion ability (trying to model with can be done, but to be honest, I'm still scratching my head over it). It will do UVMapping too, if you're brave(re than me..;) so you'd import .lwo, and export.obj, and probably be fine.
