Subject: My rendering is almost all black ?!

Hi all, I created some text using Amorphium and importet it into Poser, first as 3ds, later as Obj. Now when I render this text is comes out all black? Everything else renders ok... Have any of you had the same problem or do you have a solution to this rether annoying problem? Cheers, Beat One

Did you UV map it?

Looks like the reflection map is enable under the render materials. I had this problem before, where it looks great untill you render. The solution is to set the reflection map to None. Poser uses a different type of reflection map then other programs; Poser reflects from a spere surrounding the space where the object is intead of mapping from the surface of the object which other programs use. I hope this helps. Sam

There may be no normal information in the file. I had this happen to me with DXF files. See if you can export the file with normals from Amorphium. good luck, FlyerX
