But that was not a plane, or do you think that something that is unable to departure by itself and only lands crashing is a plane?!!!........
Compared to what they had before that -- it was an airplane.
IIRC, some group of guys recently attempted to duplicate the historic flight at Kitty Hawk -- in a mock-up of the original Wright Brothers plane. I don't know if they succeeded or not. Someone could probably do a google and find out, if interested.
