they didn't invent the plane...they had the first recorded flight and even thats dubious lol.

the same as bell didn't invent the telphone, he just got credit for it. and otis still didnt invent the lift.  an effect of the maybe to equalize but it wasn't the reason of it's development yes i know colt..the reat equalizer.......it's wasn't such an equalizer when it came to a gattling gun was it hehe...guns and weapons in general were made for killing. ...not a bad thing if your being attacked or defending something and not all wars were bad.  metalergy wasn't an invention it was a discovery.

so otis stole other peoples ideas created a brake and called it an elevater. marconi invented the radio...not ...logi baird the televison of cathode raytube....not...eddison the light bulb.....not and ad infinitum.......history is written by the victor.......but it isn't always accurate.  ten years before bell did the telephone thing a german guy living in the usa had his house wired and spoke with his wife from different rooms.  some other poor taw had created light round a filiment way before eddison even had the idea. marconi was way behind with his piece of wire and a wax tube and the wright brothers come way down when it comes to inventing the plane........remember an invention doesn't have to have worked. a reproduction of da vinci's plane worked so i can/t see how the wright  brothers were able to go back in history....oops i forgot...they invented the time machine as well hehe
