...if guns aren't handy, then machetes will do to hack to death around 500,000 people are so. Locking the populations of entire villages into church buildings and setting the buildings on fire works, too. Like what happened in Rwanda just a few years ago.
...or Darfur, just yesterday. I wish people around the world would stop blaming inanimate objects (guns, machetes, roadside bombs, the list goes on and on...) for violence. Hatred and intolerance are to blame, and until those issues and the people who practice them have been dealt with decisively, the killing will continue to perpetuate itself; no matter whether the instument is a high velocity piece of metal, high temperature pieces of atom, or the proverbial jawbone of an ass.
**It astounds me, how little the human race has progressed in conflict resolution in our thousands of years of 'civilization' (and I use the term *very * loosely!). **
So, let's have some tolerance for the misspellars out there, eh?
