And oh yeah......I should add that conspiracy theories are quite popular nowadays. Everyone seems to be seeking for the hidden truth behind events -- convinced that some gang of evil, hidden masterminds are meeting in underground bunkers & plotting to take over the world.
The really handy aspect about "hidden truths behind events" is that those "hidden truths" can be basically whatever the 'truth-seeker' wants for them to be. And how can anything be handier than that?
