Quote - ""The Wright brothers still invented the airplane --"
But that was not a plane, or do you think that something that is unable to departure by itself and only lands crashing is a plane?!!!........"
Compared to what they had before that -- it was an airplane."
Many of those things before today are flying, so were planes?
The plane is a sucession of improvements, someone tried to fly as a bird, didn't worked not enough force, later someone put a steam engine, to heavy to fly. The Wright Brothers improved a lot, they put an internal combustion engine but was not enough, only when Santos Dumont put a gas turbine it was achieved the required power/weight ratio for a plane be able to fly by itself.
Stupidity also evolves!
