I'm trying to make some renders, but I found this in my archives- Starkdog.

Drape Backgrounds & Product Shot Ground    by Bloodsong
    (http://www.3dmenagerie.com/)

the draped backgrounds were inspired by palmiro's prop.  the product shot was just for me to get that photo studio effect in my figurative works.

the product shot is actually the ground plane with morphs.  turn off the ground plane, and add this prop. (or leave it on, that might work.)  the product shot will replace the ground.  it still works as the ground does: you can use ctrl-g to turn it on and off, it accepts ground shadows, and figures/object will drop onto it.  pretty cool, huh?  ;)  there are a few morphs to try with it.

USAGE:

This is free for use in any image/animation, personal or commercial, without restrictions.  The geometry and files included in the archive may not be mass redistributed, in whole or in part, in original or derivative or converted form, for free or for pay.    (Translation:  create any image animation and do whatever you want with it.  You may NOT store this set of files on your web site for download or burn them to cd for distribution, whether or not you sell them or give them away.  If somebody wants you to email them this archive, singly, that's fine.)
Ancillary works (such as new textures, morphs, uv mapping) may be created and distributed, for free or for pay.  This archive and/or its contents may not be incorporated into the ancillary file archive.

PACKING LIST:

    DRAPEBG1.PP2
    DRAPEBG2.PP2
    DRAPEBG3.PP2

extract to any directory under libraries/props.  load them as any prop.  the top of the raised platform (if there is one, #3 doesn't have one) should be about level with the ground, so you can drop figures onto it.
these props are pretty hefty in filesize.  #3 is 5.8 meg -- its all those folds.

    PRODUCTSHOT.PP2

extract to any directory under libraries/props.  load this up to replace the ground with this morphable ground.
