Perversion is purely a transitive measurment of deviance of the "what is good or morally right" by the perverse "turning aside or away from what is generally done or accepted by the culture in question".  At least ways by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

English also says:"one that has been perverted ; specifically : one given to some form of sexual perversion"  if one is a PERVERT.  So THAT would fit one of the earlier posts.English is such a SLIPPERY language.

Where prudishness, bigotry, religious intolerence, racial genocide and such are norms, I am proud to pervert all aspects of those cultural norms!

Any revolutionary, or radical at any time in human history could be seen as perverters of the norm.  In the face of traditonal art anyone using computers to make ART would, by definition, be perverters of traditional artistic  values!

Without conotations to anything sexual, anyone posting in this thread, who has ever made art in a 'NON'-traditional way--is a pervert!  Myself included.  Of, course perversion in some respects, is another synonym for evil. Going by the standards of eighteen century mores, freeing the slaves was evil, but that is a subjective cultural viewpoint.  AND a perversion if you really wanted it.

Perverts have the job of redirecting future history into new roads and lands, one might say.  If it's a good place, then so much the better. ^__^ V,,  Just my 2p on the whole thing.
