Lynn>First off...Very sorry for your loss...Now, Easy solution for texture question...

Select the part that contains the material you want to export.

 Click on M and in the material editor go to load a texture.

Under each square where you can see the original texture there is a link to Copy.

Copy and paste in your graphics program..
