Vista will not be out this year, and when it's out, there will be different versions (4 I think), 2 for home use, 2 for pro use. But all versions will be a pain in the a** when it comes to DRM, and I suspect may avi files and mp3, legal or not, will be difficult to use. When I get my 64bit machine (hopefully by the end of the year), I'll go for XP64.  This is a beta alright, but it works absolutely fine.
