The problem is solved completely, thanks to your suggestion. The problem wasn't so much

the renaming, as it was the spaces being replaced with underscores in the OBJ file. Of course

when THAT happened, the names no longer matched. Also, OBJ names are limited to a

certain length, 14 or 15 characters, I think. If the Poser name is longer than the name window

in an objects properties dialogue, the OBJ will have only the letters that fit in the window, while

Poser will have the full name, hence, again, name mismatch. The solution is simple, short

part names, and hyphens instead of spaces. :)
