Vista RC2 can be downloaded from the MicroSoft site.  It will run until July 2007.  Supposedly, RC2 will be the shipping version that will go to corporate accounts next month and be available to us lesser mortals in January.  Again - Supposedly.

It doesn't measure up to the hype, IMO.  Does anything?  I've removed it primarily due to the lack of bells and whistles that aren't available in 64 bit format.  You guys won't go wrong by logging into your motherboard and video card mfg sites and see if the gadgets you use are available.  I like to monitor heat and fans.  No can do with the Asus board and video card I use now.  There may be a work around for this problem.  I prefer to wait for the Asus "stuff".   Drivers of various types may be a problem too.  I think I'll wait for SP2  :-)
