I think I might have woodworkshop already downloaded (which would be a good thing as I can't download such things here at college) But then I never did find time to install it and try it out... as far as I recall.
I'll have to have a look....

No no, don't appologise, I did say I grabbed them anyway. I'll test them in the scene, but if they don't work for that they'll certainly work for other things.
Those you posted above look nice, and thinking about what you said I might be able to do the same with MY galvanised metal texture - I did the same as you after you did it, but I don't think I used the christmas balls materials as a starter, I think I went a bit deeper into the DTE, with one of the noises - can't remember now though.
I certainly DO like the results you got and I'm interested in how you did it.
