I am back! Thanks for all of your support! So yeah I was a little nervous when I got in there. I even was able to leave my shoes on for the procedure so very out patient but I would not recommend not having a driver. 

 

Just so we are clear though some Doctors are pompous asses. This Dr. had no bed side manner at all.

 

As far as the Endoscopy its self I remember the first second of the procedure the part when the nurse gave me the sedative (but I was already tired from not sleeping or eating in a couple of days).Then I zonked right out. I woke up in the recovery area and then was a mess the rest of the day.

 

Apparently I was absolutely amazed that we had pumpkins!!! I was all “LOOK PUMPKINS WHEN DID WE GET THOSE?” I was told about 3 times after each time I asked. My daughter thought it was really funny to “test” dad on what color shirt he was wearing and after 3 tries I got it right! That stuff really messes you up.  

 

I don’t know anything yet and I am still the same but at least the nausea is gone and I have been able to eat a little. I took the day off today as the sedative didn’t seem to wear off until around 9-10 last night and then I slept terrible.

 

Thanks for the support probably just a bad case of my Colitis so no worries I deal with it once or twice really bad ones a year.

Oh yeah one last thing they do pump you full of air.
