Illustration#1:
Open Bryce create model. In material lab place a bead in the “A” channel.
In the DTE set up all the colors in component #1 as indicated, these colors can be changed to taste.
Set the color mode for component #1 to RGB-Spline Interpol. Then proceed to the noise dialog and edit:
Type=Voronoi ID1
Mode=Minimum
Octaves=3
Direction XY=80
Direction YZ=0
Frequency X, Y and Z =115
Set to 2D
In the Phase dialog:
Type=RND Linear
Mode=Standard
Octaves=2
Direction XY, YZ=0
Frequency X, Y, Z=89
Set to 3D
Setup component filters as indicated and accept changes.
Combination component color mode should be set to “none”.
Illustration#2:
From the Textures library bring up Swirlwave as channel “B” material.
Illustration#3:
From the Textures library bring up Basic Tile as channel “C” material.
Illustration#4:
For the Basic Tile material enter the DTE and shut off all components except the first. Bring up the noise dialog and bring the frequency to 1.
Illustration#5:
Channel’s 1 and 2 should be set to “Object Cubic” and the channel 3 set to “Object Space”.
Edit scale controls for channels A, B and C as follows:
Channel A=135
Channel B=150
Channel C=18
All scales can be manipulated to taste.
Set diffusion value=55 and bump to somewhere around 3 and everything else off.
Save it in your material folder and label it “Cork”
