I have placed my figure in a set and ame useing the lights that came with it. When I render, my girl has no shadow on the floor. Do I need to turn the shadow on or something?

Probably.  Check your render settings to make sure cast shadows is turned on.
Also check you light settings to make sure at least on of them has shadows
checked.  Also if you are using ray traced shadows make sure raytracing
is turn on in your render settings.  And make sure there is something
on the floor to cast a shadow against, like make sure the ground plane
is turned on, or use a prop like  the hi res square to simulate the ground.
