You can use programs like MatPose edit that will do things for you.....but I got tired of having to enter everything in so this is what I do now if I'm not just saving as a P6 materials collection ---
With the figure and it's textures and everything set up how you want in the materials room, save a new copy of the figure to the characters library.
Then delete everything from this new cr2 but the material zones desired, and rename to pz2.
I use CR2Builder to open the files and delete everything I don't need. (I'm at work so I don't have the link at the ready)
If you have P6, you can also just save a materials collection, and then you can make a few changes to the top of the document and rename as a pz2 to make a matpose. I don't remember what all you have to change...but it's an even simpler way to get your matpose created.
