Very well said, moogal.  The problem is that the previous owners of Poser didn't see it this way at all - they would rather cut off an arm (and add it as a third-party peripheral addition) then mess with the base code (let's face it, Python / Face / DynamicCloth / Dynamic Hair / Materials were all peripheral additions - so that includes Poser 4 ProPack).  Poser hadn't really changed since Poser 4! That timidity is what caused Poser to be passed from Metacreations to Curious Labs and now to e-frontier.  With e-frontier, we seem to have finally met someone willing to stand up to the base code and start enhancing and fixing it (yay!).

The content is for, as you say, those who consider it important.  Content (in general) is very important - but the stock content shouldn't be the sole selling point of software.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
