ahhhh, i understand your question better by your last response.

i'm an artist and a musician. and weather i'm drawing or playing, yes...it does make a difference. but only in the sense that it makes a difference to me as i'm creating. it makes no difference if i'm purchasing. i only purchase what suits me.

i could create a scene that dispalys a,b, and c. but in my mind that scene is the result of that character having gone through e,f,h,j,k, and l. though you might not see it and the scene might not depict the latter...a,b, and c is the result of having endured e,f,h,j,k, and l. the same for a song, there has to be a story behind the focal point...otherwise it really isn't real. and you can't fully portray what you are meaning to. each of my characters has a name and a limited history.

does that make sense? is that what you meant?
