###Is Bryce an acceptable modeling program for use with Poser?###

Bryce as a program is very acceptable... Bryce user like using Poser for their figure work...
Bryce 6 has Daz Studio working along side it...  Studio is a lite Poser.. you may pose stuff in Studio and with a mouse click get it right into Bryce 6..   With Poser you have to save your figures in some mesh file.. ie... obj..3ds... etc...  then import that into Bryce 6....   Stidio and Poser can swicth some objects and figures..  which is great...

Bryce 6 has objects you can boolean together to create other objects.. and it has metaballs that work a bit different...  So if you want to make a necklace and shell bra, you have to know how to work with Bryce's not too accurate methods.....   But if you did get to model them, you can then export them to an obj file, for instant, and import it into Poser....  
I don't know Hexagon...  can't say much about it...   I would not personally use Bryce to model my stuff... I model in Bryce just to learn and play...

Yes you can import your Poser 6 figures into Bryce6,,,,   As some suitable Mesh file .. but then your figures are dead.. no longer able to make them  work  in Poser as they did before you  mesh them...  Unless you re-rig them..  but there are work arounds that too... 

I would personally make the necklace and use Poser to put it on the figure...  not use Bryce because Poser is made for accurate placement of things and objects..  Just a preference... you can use Bryce as well but not as comfortably.... 

Poser and Bryce are a good couple......:-)
