Right now I have a Harmony tube amp from 1967 that is in need of a complete rebuild, but the best rock and roll amp I ever had was a 1962 Blonde Fender Bassman head.  It was rated at fifty watts and you had to turn it up all the way to get the grit, but sounded like the voice of God himself.  Got me evicted from two apartments in Colorado Springs.  Man I really loved that amp, but I lost my job at the Craftsman tool factory and had to let it go to the pawn shop.  Colorado Springs was a great town to find vintage amps in for some reason.
