The new Gizmos turn V6 into a far more professional tool (similar to Max, LightWave, Cinema4D, XSI or Maya), though (as with most things) they take a little bit of getting used to at first.

Of course you can always work the older way, but personally I think you'll be missing out on some great new tools.
