Awww shucks! Aren´t you all too darn sweet for words. 😊 Thank you very much. As for the latter part of this thread i would also like to add my 2 euros worth.

Yes Geert i took it personally...but shouldn´t i have? You´ve already admitted to me an IM that your comment was directed at me as an attempt to tease me. And i don´t have a problem with that. Like it has been said, written words has a tendency of becoming interpretated in the weirdest ways. I don´t have a problem with people finding drop-shots boring either. What i fail to understand however is how a comment saying "i´m bored" will do anyone any good. Where´s the constructive advice or encouragement in that? Every day i see 20 times as many flower-shots or cat-shots....and i have yet to see a comment on those that says "i´m bored with these...move on". Why is that? The reason i reacted so strongly was because that said person who received that comment didn´t deserve it. It was her second attempt ever, it wasn´t like she was cluttering the galleries with dropshots all by herself. She should have been encouraged instead of being told that she shouldn´t do those boring things again. There is a very simple solution for those that are bored with a certain "theme"....just look away. You should certainly not waste any time commenting only to state that you´re bored with it since it´s utterly pointless and doesn´t do anyone any good.

I have also today been told by someone, that taking drops shouldnt´be considered photography since it´s just random pressing of the shutter and then hoping that a drop appears in the frame. And that´s probably true for some.....still it´s just as much photography as shooting a tree. And i do find that remark offensive as well when i constantly try to experiment....here´s where you wrong my dear Radlaxf, lol.....with new liquids and substances to get a certain splash or whatever. Ever wondered why i take most of my drop-shots at work? It´s because here i have access to different oils and equipments so that i can measure things like viscosity. So it´s certainly not randomly shooting on my behalf. So when someone tells me it´s not even to be considered photography, then i do feel insulted. Sorry but i can´t help that.

But enough about that. I´m still blushing about your kind words, lol. Thank you all. You made my night here at work so much more pleasant. 2.20 am and only 3 more hours to go....yaaaaaay!!! 😄

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?
