Thanks to all of you who viewed my last upload on Date Rape. It is a sensitive issue and I didn't know how it would be received. Thanks to Geert and Michel for suggesting that I add it as a sticky. The intention behind the upload was to raise awareness. I still can't believe what happened to my friend and the long process of healing she will no doubt go through. The reason I chose the shower pic is that has been documented as the FIRST thing most women want to do...and should NOT. Hopefully, we can educate people and prevent this disgusting occurance. Thanks for sharing this awareness about date rape with us.  Powerful image to go with this topic. Great information about not showering after being sexually assaulted even if it is the first thing must victims which to do.
Congratulations and my heart feels for your friend. May time heal and give her strength to realise that not all humans are so cruel.

Glad to see you did manage to find your way into the forum, I  did miss your image, but you did a great job to explore this emotive topic... I  had been helping the victims of this sort of Trauma for many years, and cant stress how being forwarned is to be forearmed... To this end maybe this link may explain some of the dangers

hope all goes well. There is many types of rape as you know and this knowledge is good for all types. I know a woman that was rape by a stanger and the police did get him and he with to jail for his crime. That was the second time he with to jail for rape.

here is a link that is happening around the world and the news people is not reporting it. So watch out for this type too.. It shows a world wide thing here. Hope to stop this type of rape or show it to the world as it is. There a lot of news on this going on around the world but a lot of it is not reported in the papers for fear of these people. I guess
