I Use anim8or quite a lot. To make morphs and clothes.

  1. To make morphs.

Export each group you want to work on from Poser and put the vink at " As a Morph target".
Try : Export the head and export the neck. Save in a special folder and use recognisable names.

Open anim8or

Import obj, and import the head.

Import obj and import the neck. Oeps, the head is gome (from the view) but still there.

In the Obj drop down menue select the one you want to copy on the other==> Copy or cut as you like

Select the other one (it will become visible) and paste. Head and neck are now "reglued".

Make your morph by pushing the points around.

To export do the reverse. Select  the neck "cut" and paste in a "new file". Export as obj.

The head that remained behind can now be exported.

I use this all the time : rebuilding the complete model in anim8or, morphing it, and then exporting group by group. Re-import into Poser as morph targets.

Attention, never delete or add  any points, Poser will not accept it.
