Yes, he is fantastic...  He or someone else that does this would sit on the side walks of the upperwest side were I lived and creat this stuff...   Boy did it smell of acrilic paints.....

in college, I did this as well.  Some of you may remember "USA up-all-nite" with Rhonda?  Anyhow, she had a homeless guy on there who did something similar...so I had to try it too.  I have lots of photo's of the ones I did.  I need to crank up the scanner and show them.

there's one on my wall right now.

I had one on the wall of my room that was made from glow-in-the-dark paint with the enterprise in it (complete with lights).

His stuff is ver cool but it also on his web site it looks a little repetative. I am not saying he is talented just that is how he makes it look so simple.

my scanner wont pull the pictures in..so when I go to my mother's next, I'll use hers to scan them.

at least this guy has the good sense to do it in the open.  I used to do it in my apartment.

They had this in Ibiza (spain) 10 years ago it looks great, but dead simple once you get the hang of it.

Seems like the guy has some good airbrush-artist skills. I dunno if he'd have a grafitti background, because of the the way he works with the canvas. (He does some scraping/wiping/sponging that would only seem to work well on smooth surfaces.) But rather than using expensive airbrushes and related equipment, he just uses spray paint cans. I bet it's quite a bit cheaper than actual air brushes (nothing to clean up /fix/replace if lost), but still not really cheap (if you use a lot of colors those spraycans add up).

Also I doubt he's getting too much fumes, it appears he's working under a ventilated fume hood. There's still some paint smell of course, just not enough to get really dizzy. Never expected the fire thing, but I guess that helps it set faster?

There's a guy in Brisbane who does similar stuff in the mall there, only without the gloves or ventilating equipment.  Amazing to see such artists at work.
