Seems like the guy has some good airbrush-artist skills. I dunno if he'd have a grafitti background, because of the the way he works with the canvas. (He does some scraping/wiping/sponging that would only seem to work well on smooth surfaces.) But rather than using expensive airbrushes and related equipment, he just uses spray paint cans. I bet it's quite a bit cheaper than actual air brushes (nothing to clean up /fix/replace if lost), but still not really cheap (if you use a lot of colors those spraycans add up).
Also I doubt he's getting too much fumes, it appears he's working under a ventilated fume hood. There's still some paint smell of course, just not enough to get really dizzy. Never expected the fire thing, but I guess that helps it set faster?
