there's a boston terrier that lives next door.  from a little puppy he  has fiercely defended his yard.  my friend has one that's just about to have his first b-day.  i was really looking forward to this, so i hope kirwyn isn't put of by the competition from puggles (who, while adorable, is  completely different).  not that i need more to spend my money on.  if he comes out after christmas, i'll be more pleased than disappointed.  but i think others might explode by then.
