"Windows98 installs right over itself. So it's not all that bad. Just takes about 30 mins" Yeah... unless you're like me and got a damn Compaq and no Windows 98 disk--- just two "Full Restore" CD's that not only reinstall Windows, but also reformat EVERY drive! I know, I know--- this isn't the place for this, but it really irks me--- all that money that not only I spent, but that THEY make, both MS and Compaq, and I can't get a simple, stinking Windows 98 CD with it?!? ...... Just to stay ON topic, I actually had this happen to me once before. I can't remember what the solution was, but Norton Utilities took care of it somehow.
