I'm afraid that basically POV-RAY still is a text-based render engine. But you solves this with PoseRay. You set all from this software and when you finish your settings simply click in Render and Save and PoseRay sends all the data info to POV-RAY so you only need to sit down and wait the final render
Remember: both PoseRay and POV-RAY are FREE
