Thank you Kort.....Kort Kramer. 😉

I went to have a look at worth1000 and saw this tutorial on how to create a cyborg-version of Catherine Zeta Jones and i just had to try it myself. Unfortunatly i don´t have such a beautiful model to begin with ...... so i took this squirrel i had in my archives instead. I´m sure it could be done a helluva lot better....but i only had 15 minutes to do it on.

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

LoL!!!!! Arn't you sweet, Andreas! I'm sorry, but if you take a look at any other photographer's shots of Mono Lake......... you would say mine is crap! The color lighting off the water is cool, but it does not make up for the rest of the crap. Of course you have to realize I took this pic from my car after I missed the shot of a lifetime as I passed up the overlook  about ten minutes earlier!!!

Now that last......... does it make you want to hurl or what????? Talk about a slant!!!! LOL ;p This is another one that I took from my car...... I had almost passed them without notice and once I did stop, I didn't want to get out of the car for fear of scaring them off!!!! Oh, well, it was really cool to just see them sitting on the lawn of this general stores parking lot!!!!!

Kort, I hope you don't mind, but I had to play with that one cuz it really is super!!! I upped the colors, but darkened it and upped the contrast slightly. I also tried a diffuse glow on it wich looked pretty cool, but lost some depth doing it.

Eh...i´m amazed that you don´t think this photo is gallery worthy Kort. It´s just as grand as the one i added to my favs. And i don´t mean to step on your toes Kim but i personally prefer Kort´s version. The muted tones add so much to the creepy mood. And i also prefer the red hue of the leaves and dirt road.

Attached Link: Other Version

Thanks you guys and I don't mind you playing Kim, but I do agree with Andreas that the more muted version has a bit more mood too it. It wasn't sunny so the vibrant green just don't fit the mood. Well, since you asked, I did sorta post that image. It is actually a crop for the center of the top photo in my gallery post today. I felt it needed more of the trees so I went back to the original. You can compare the two by clicking the link...which do you like better? I know it is hard to tell, but those are hikers in the distance. :)

This one is for Kai, who mentioned that the terrain looked much more 'open' on Cumberland Island than where he lives. It did have it's open spots, but much of the forested area was very dense. There were also dunes and marshes too, quite a complex ecosystem. Does that tree at the bottom right remind anyone else of a deer? :)

hehe - one of the benefits i suppose.  We dont get snow here much, but i hope it does snow - it would be some kind of "reward" for the cold i have been putting up with the past month or so :)

Btw - anyone else having problems when clicking on the "last" page link from the forums... it leads me to a blank page with all the << , < , 6, 7 ,8 ,9 ,10 links being clickable (whereas this page has 10 not clickable).  It's like i am redirected to the non-existant 11th page..
