Well over at high poly 3D tehr eis a gothic modeling competition going on and it is open to all open souce and freeware modelers. So that means Blender so far tehr eare only a few wings entries but hoping to get soem support from some blenderheads.

Ooh, that could be fun.  Are these focused mostly on modelling, or does lighting/texturing/etc also matter?

Not that I'm at all sure I can enter, I haven't got much time and depending on when it ends, which they don't say I may not have time to do  anything

Mostly modeling. Lighting and textureing might help but you really need to model. It is going on till new years. Honestly if you make any progress at all you will be doing good.

Ooh, I meant to do something for this and totally forgot about it.  I get so busy with school there's no time for anything else :(  I guess I could still do something if it's going until new years...
