When I start my Poser (doesn't matter whether it's 5 or 6), I only load the native runtimes so Poser isn't looking at any other content during the load. This means my load time for P6 is about 15 seconds since the only content is the native stuff. When I need a runtime (lights, hair, V3, V4, whatever) I add it and when I'm done and ready to shut down I unload any of my external runtimes and then close Poser. Makes loading sooooooooo much quicker this way and all my content is organized the way I want.
You could achieve the same result and keep your runtimes linked in poser.
Simply switch to a small runtime before you exit poser. The next time you open Poser it will look to that runtime. Large runtime = longer time to open. Small runtime = quick opening.
