I feel your pain.  I'm a police officer in St. Louis County Missouri and we get a lot of calls regarding parties and domestic issues that need to be addressed.  Don't feel bad about calling the police.  It's one thing I hate is when people start partying in an apartment and everyone can hear you.  It's inconsiderate and annoying to those who don't want to be bothered by the noise.  I hope things are better for you in the future.
