I presume you have already clicked on the figure menu bar at the top left of the screen? After this move down to 'conform to' & click on this to bring up a sub menu. From here you should be able to choose figure 1, which I presume you are using. If the item is meant for this figure then it should automatically conform to the figure. Hope this helps.
