I think the simple explaination is.....

Install a character in Poser and leave it here.
Open Bryce
Click on the DAZ/Studio icon
Wait for DAZ/Studio to load up
Your Poser character will be in the D/S catalogue.
Pose character in D/S
Click on BRYCE icon to return to Bryce.

In other words 'you don't need to use poser.

One word of warning though.......
If you have more than one character in your Bryce scene, you need to delete the link between Bryce and D/S for that character before going to work importing another character from D/s
