Quote - Oh no, here we go again. I can't tell you how many times I had to learn all about Poser 5 and 6 rendering issues. Reflection artifacts, refraction artifacts, shadow artifacts, texture filtering artifacts, smoothing artifacts, displacement artifacts. I know at least a dozen perfectly reasonable situations and settings that will ruin your render in ways that no other software has ever accomplished.

Searching forums endlessly, doing thousands of test renders, then after mastering what not to do, explaining a gabillion times to all the newer folks how you should never turn this dial too low or too high, otherwise perfectly ordinary and simple squares do not render correctly.

Poser has the quirkiest renderer I've ever seen. I had hoped P7 would clean things up a bit. Those artifacts look totally different than any I've seen before. So I guess we'll be learning a few dozen more things you should not do in Poser.

I think if there was an awards category for software containing "the most built-in features you must never use", Poser would win hands down, year after year.

You wouldn't happen to have a list compiled of these tricks would you, or at least a site where this is discussed?

Thanks in advance.
