Yes - you've explained it in your render notes by being more specific - "Unimesh Realism Kit".
Face-off's shaders look for a figure's material zones, and a lot of V4's zones are named the same as the Unimesh ones. So the URK will complain if it can't find a Unimesh figure, but will still try to shade the areas whose names it recognises - more often than not successfully.
