Sorry Mark, but there's some wrong info in your post. C5 would NOT operate under rosetta, at least not on my new MacBook. C5 would not launch and the icon wouldn't even show in the dock. You must have the DAZ Intel version of Carrara for the new Macs, and new versions of the plugins, otherwise they will not load ("mcx failed to load error"). David, the DCG site has packaged all the new UniversalBinary plugins into one download. Inagoni is just a little more effort (you download the new versions from a single download page). You CAN'T just move the old plugins folder over, but opening it will tell you which plugins you've added, if you've forgotten. Keep 3rd-party plugins in their own folders inside the Carrara Extensions folder and they will always be easy to find when they are updated. holly
