Ok, here's a screenshot, and I hope it's what you wanted.  The trees have not starting falling apart yet, but I'm sure they will if I keep rendering the scene.

I put the terrain in, and then the trees.  No little shack in this one, but I have a feeling this oddity may happen if I adjust the height or size of the trees.

Anyway..I will try installing Vue again and see what happens.  All my prefs seem to be what they should be and can't remember changing any of them.

Will do some waiting housework, and get back to you later..
