Actually I think you'll find that is the BEST & ONLY reason anything can be called Art.
Absolutely not. In that case, tea is Art, because I like tea. Anything is Art, and the term becomes useless.
The criterion for Art is profundity of expression. Art is what transcends the trivial. I think some people here need to read some serious Art criticism.
Making a really good cup of Tea is an Art, especially as it can go so badly in the wrong hands.
Serious Art Criticism is subjective at best, what the critic says is just their opinion & I never trust critics to get it right.
