Ive seen these places when in New York...I also spent a half a day in the garment district, and did not walk out with one piece of clothing, in plain terms a miracle for me. I did so much wheeling and dealing and never picked anything up. Sometimes what strikes me about New York is the diversity or I want to say displacement in life or living, you can be in Tiffany's, and across the street people are sleeping in cardboard boxes. I went into Tiffany's the first time I was in New York just to see it, but I could not take my eyes off the people in the boxes, it just ate at me. While in there, I watched people looking at items of jewelry, that were more expensive than my house, double it say, and it was a weird experience to say the least. Sometimes the rush is incredible. The minute you come out of the tunnel and try to cross six lanes of traffic to go up broadway, and you are wiping sweat off your brow, it hits you, the heat, the people, the city, its like another life.
