My thought for dealing with the above question was to have the user position boxes to specify where certain features fall on the source and target meshes. Then the verts and polys between the corresponding boxes would be compared to one another, expanding on the basic methods of the current 'octree' subdivision process. That might offset some of the problems of comparing dissimilar shapes. But it would only go so far, even if it were to work.
Not that I expect to get there.... :sigh:

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
