trekkiegrrrl - just a question: do you recommend hex for beginners?  i've poked around at free stuff (wings 3d, blender, animator), but nothing's really clicked so far.  wings3d hides too many affordances and blender reveals too many.  i bought hex when it was $2, but haven't cracked it open yet.  any reactions to it?
