Dawn stifles a yawn;
Arises with a shiver:
Which, to all, will warn.

I'm back! Glad to read that I've been missed (it makes one feel all warm and fuzzy inside).
Sorry everyone about the hampered approach to my haiku contributions of late but I don't jump online all that often (though I suspect that will change in the not-too-distant future when I have cable within my grasp - drool).

hanevi: As it so happens I have indeed been nutting out yet another instalment of the ongoing (and seemingly unceasing) Alliteration Challenge, of which you can view here. As you can see they're becoming increasingly excessive. ;)
And yeah, where's that favourite literary sparring partner of mine, Margana? I'm sure she'll make an appearance before long.

Dinhi: Just a friendly reminder that a true haiku conforms to the 5-7-5 syllable rule, meaning the syllable count of the first and third lines should each total five syllables, and the second line a total of seven syllables. Wonderful imagery otherwise! Keep up the great work. :)

Lovely compositions everyone. I'm heartened to witness this sudden unexpected burst of enthusiasm for the haiku challenge once more. 😉
