Well...I run IE 6.0 on my "Surf" computer,It´s an old one with WIN 98(There isn´t enough memory to install XP on it. ) Since there´s no support anymore for old WIN and old browser versions, it´s not an option to reinstall IE 6.0. 
Of course I can reinstall it from a CD but there will not be any security updates in that case...
Yes I have run AD Aware and an AVG Virus check = no problems found.
Perhaps installing Opera would be alternative choice...
Anyway It´s weird though.
