That would be Rancho Cucamonga (California). About 40 minutes east of Los Angeles, as the 210 freeway goes.
No, didn't mark out degrees. Just eyeballed it to have a little bit of overlap. The software automatically stitches it all together (normally). if it can't figure out a seam, you just do it manually, still very easy.
I do photography for my brothers Real Estate business, and this was a view from one of the houses he is selling. The original reason for him wanting panoramas was to for me to create QTVR of house interiors, but I am also getting to do exterior shots like this.
Fun stuff.
Stitching software used is Realviz's Stitcher.
